What do you sell?
Circa Online seeks high-quality consignments in excellent condition. We sell fine jewelry, watches, couture & furs, crystal, silver, china, porcelain, fine art, rare and first edition books, and some electronics. We sell items that might otherwise be deaccessioned via traditional auction houses, sold via brick and mortar consignment/antique shops, the classifieds, or vehicle (auto and marine) dealerships.

How do you know what my collection is worth?
We analyze closed and active sales at various venues to give you an idea how to best price your item in the current marketplace.

In some cases an appraisal is necessary to assure top price or to authenticate your item. We have referred clients to qualified appraisers and have had items independently appraised on behalf of clients.

What about Privacy, Security, Accountability?
Circa understands that we all buy and sell under specific circumstances and we guarantee our discretion.

We have a secured studio and are fully insured.

Every step of your consignment process is verifiable. If you use a personal computer, you can follow your auction or sale from beginning to end. If you don't, Circa Online keeps detailed, secure records, transparent and accessible to you at any time.

What are your fees?
Most of our clients earn 70% or of their sale, many earn more. Please see our fee schedule for details.

We do not charge “miscellaneous” fees. We absorb eBay, PayPal, extra photography if necessary, or any aspect of packing, customs, or shipping.

Circa does charge for housecalls exceeding one per calendar month and for procuring appraisals or authentication should our clients wish us to manage those actitivies.

When and How Will I be Paid?
Once your sale is complete, we process the your buyer’s payment via PayPal and pay you by month’s end. Most of our clients receive their payments via PayPal; we’re happy to mail a check.
I’d like to sell something. How do I get it to you?
We’re happy to accept consignments in our Carlisle Center location. Additionally, we make housecalls, one per month at no charge. Subsequent housecalls during the same calendar month are charged at a rate of 100. per visit, including an hour of our time on site.
My organization holds an annual auction. How can you help?
Organizations can greatly increase their auction revenues by listing member donations on eBay or selling on Craig’s List.

We provide my services to non-profits and other groups At a discount, beginning with an hour-long consultation you’re your board or organization’s representative. Please call for more information.

How Can You Help a Merchants with Excess Inventory?
If you are a merchant, consider Circa for your hard-to-sell merchandise, whatever the reason.
